Welcome to the website of Bristol Rovers Central Development which was founded for 09/10 Season.

We are the Official Satellite Club for Bristol Rovers based in the Midlands.

For Season 2010/2011 we have four age groups of u12s, U15s, U16s and U18s which are run from our main Development Centre based in Henley in Warwickshire

With the aid of Quality coaching, committed backroom staff and the support of people in the professional game we aim to provide the ways and means to create an oppotunity for the players of the future to find a route into the professional game.

All age groups play in the acclaimed Midland Junior Premier League which is acknowledged as the best next level to professional academy leagues.  The League’s aim is to bridge the gap between League clubs Academies/Centre of Excellence and Sunday Football, and create an enjoyable experience for the game of football.

Also games are organised against Academy/Centre of Excellence sides which shows the level of talent produced through this new Development scheme introduced by the main club Bristol Rovers F.C.

The Development Centre like the main club Centre of Excellence will not be results orientated as we value the conception of developing players from a young age through our structure and progress from age band to age band and where the better players can step up one or even two age bands to be challenged and tested with a view to knocking on the door of the Centre of Excellence and move on to a professional enviroment.
